Paediatric radiology is a challenging and intriguing subspecialty, dealing with children, guardians and non-radiological clinical colleagues. Paediatric radiologists are routinely in contact with numerous paediatric and surgical subspecialties, all having different needs, perceptions, prioritisations and expectations. Moreover, the radiologist is part of the team of radiographers, sonographers, nurses and secretaries, assisted by appropriate equipment and electronic tools.

Clinical presentation varies: oesophageal perforations can present with acute chest pain, odynophagia and vomiting, gastroduodenal perforations with acute severe abdominal pain, while colonic perforations tend to follow a slower progression course with secondary bacterial peritonitis or localised abscesses. A subset of patients may present with delayed symptoms, abscess mimicking an abdominal mass, or with sepsis.

This is the report of a patient who presented with acute testicular ischaemia in the immediate post-EVAR period.
Report: A 65 year old patient underwent EVAR for an aortic and bilateral iliac aneurysms.
Purpose: Tο fabricate a tissue-mimicking phantom simulating the MR relaxation times of neonatal gray and white matter at 1.5 T, for the optimization of clinical Τ1 weighted (T1w) and T2 weighted (T2w) sequences.
Methods: Numerous agarose gel solutions, doped with paramagnetic Gadopentetic acid (Gd-DTPA) ions, underwent quantitative relaxometry with a Turbo-Inversion-Recovery Spin-Echo (TIRSE) sequence and a Car-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) sequence for T1 and T2 measurements, respectively.
We describe a case of a 28-year-old man who presented with symptomatic, right-sided, large adrenal cyst recurrence 9 months after laparoscopic decortication. Final treatment was achieved by means of percutaneous aspiration and ethanol ablation. On 6-month follow-up the patient was asymptomatic and the cyst remained minimised.

The patient was initially managed with percutaneous nephrostomy and final treatment was achieved by placement of an external-internal nephroureteral double pigtail.
