The current models of porous media for numerical simulation of multiphase fluid flows are reviewed and classified herein. Methods for building these models and problems of creating the same are examined, and examples where the models were used are given. This review has been made as part of hydrocarbon deposit hydrodynamic simulation problems arising in the oil-and-gas producing industry.

These substances have similar chemical properties and are difficult to differentiate when one is against the background of the other using methods based on X-ray absorption. In the experiments, we used three pulsed X-ray sources with different maximum voltages.

Furthermore, various authors report that it is also hard to diagnose. It manifests with neurological symptoms at the affected wrist, which are usually induced by wrist movement, and can lead to partial or full loss of wrist function and sensitivity.

The investigation of the vertical elements considered the diameter increase at the bottom toe by using widening washers. The results were compared relative to each other and to the theoretical calculation results.

Structures of the prefabricated helical micropiles varied by the length and cross-section area introduced into the soil massive as reinforcing bearing elements. The effect of the reinforcements geometry variation was investigated through a reinforcement factor (), based on which a calculation method for measuring settlement of reinforced soil has been previously developed Full-scale field plate load tests were performed before and after reinforcing the soil to investigate the changes in the soil stiffness after the reinforcement process.

Objective: This study investigates the possibility of using pulsed X-ray source with an inductive energy storage device and a semiconductor opening switch for shooting moving objects.
Methods: The study uses a high-voltage pulse generator that has the following parameters namely, the pulse voltage amplitude up to 320 kV, the pulse current up to 240 A, the current pulse duration of about 50 ns, and the pulse repetition rate up to 2 kHz.
Anaplastic pancreatic carcinoma is a very rare histological subtype of pancreatic cancer, which is characterized by a more aggressive course than for conventional ductal adenocarcinoma. In this article, we consider the features of the clinical course, the difficulties of diagnosis in connection with the absence of pathognomonic signs of pancreatic cancer, and the morphological picture of this disease in a patient 60 years of age. This clinical case clearly demonstrates the complexities of the pancreatic carcinoma diagnosis, fast disease progression, and extremely unfavorable prognosis.
