Objetivo: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo describir los resultados clínicos del colgajo anterolateral de muslo y radial de antebrazo, para la reconstrucción hipofaríngea y esofágica en un hospital de cuarto nivel en Bogotá, Colombia.
MÉtodos: Estudio retrospectivo inlcuyo 38 pacientes a los que se les realizó reconstrucción funcional esofágica con colgajo de antebrazo radial o anterolateral de muslo (ALT) entre febrero de 2010 y diciembre de 2017.
Resultados: Edad media fue de 51 años.
Alveolar soft part sarcoma is a rare malignant soft tissue neoplasm of uncertain histogenesis and aggressive clinical behavior. Alveolar soft part sarcoma arises in the head and neck in 27% of cases, with 25% of head and neck cases occurring in the tongue. Herein the case of a pediatric patient diagnosed with alveolar soft tissue sarcoma of the tongue, who received surgical treatment with total resection of the lesion and chemotherapy without radiotherapy, is presented.

Objective: To assess the main clinical, radiographic, and histopathologic features of patients with bisphosphonate-induced osteonecrosis of the jaws (BIONJ).
Study Design: Patients with BIONJ diagnosed and treated at the Head and Neck Department, Instituto Nacional de Cancerología, Bogotá, DC, Colombia, between January 2012 and February 2014 were retrospectively included. Patients treated with sequestrectomy or curettage were excluded.
