This study identified potential inhibitory compounds of the phosphoenolpyruvate-sugar. Phosphotransferase system of S. mutans, specifically enzyme II mannose transporter (EII) in its subunits IIA, IIB and IIC by means of a selection protocol and in silico molecular analysis.
