Purpose: Autistic youth are at heightened risk of mental health issues and face several barriers to accessing appropriate supports. A lack of available services is a common barrier that many autistic youth experience, with only 43% of autistic youth from the US who needed mental health services receiving them. Little is known about the availability of these mental health services in Canada, despite the high prevalence of mental health issues in autistic youth.

However, emergence of novel variants and waning vaccine-induced immunity led to implementation of additional vaccine boosters.
Methods: This prospective study evaluated the temporal profile of cellular and serological responses in a cohort of 639 SARS-CoV-2-vaccinated participants, of whom a large proportion experienced a SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Background: Faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has mainly been studied in quantitative research to investigate effect rates. However, there is a lack of qualitative studies to explore patient perspectives.
Aim: To explore perceptions of quality of life in older patients with infection (CDI) at least 1 week after receiving FMT.

SARS-CoV-2 Omicron quickly spread globally, also in regions with high vaccination coverage, emphasizing the importance of exploring the immunological requirements for protection against Omicron breakthrough infection. The test-negative matched case-control study (N = 964) characterized Omicron breakthrough infections in triple-vaccinated individuals from the ENFORCE cohort. Within 60 days before a PCR test spike-specific IgG levels were significantly lower in cases compared to controls (GMR [95% CI] for BA.

Aims: To optimise the effectiveness of FMT for rCDI and validate determinants for effect METHODS: We conducted a cohort study, including all patients treated with FMT for rCDI between October 2018 and June 2020. Statistical process control was used to evaluate the impact of prospective quality improvement on the effect of single FMT treatments per 10-11 patients.
Background: Continuous evolution of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) outpaces monovalent vaccine cross-protection to new viral variants. Consequently, bivalent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines including Omicron antigens were developed. The contrasting immunogenicity of the bivalent vaccines and the impact of prior antigenic exposure on new immune imprinting remains to be clarified.

We present in this comprehensive work, for the first time, detailed fabrication and clinical validation of a point of care (PoC) device for rapid, onsite detection of SARS-CoV-2 using a real-time reverse-transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) reaction on a polymer cartridge. The PoC system, namely PATHPOD, consisting of a standalone device (weight less than 1.

At population level, vaccine-induced immunity substantially reduces the risk of severe COVID-19 disease and hospitalization. However, the relative impact of humoral and cellular immunity on protection from breakthrough infection and severe disease is not fully understood.

We conducted a retrospective cohort study using national registers to describe the histological tumor types, location, incidence, and survival of benign and malignant salivary gland tumors.
Methods: We analyzed data on all Greenlandic Inuit with an epithelial-derived salivary gland tumor from 1990 to 2019.
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is an aggressive malignancy that most often arises in salivary or lacrimal glands but can also occur in other tissues. We used optimized RNA-sequencing to analyze the transcriptomes of 113 ACC tumor samples from salivary gland, lacrimal gland, breast or skin. ACC tumors from different organs displayed remarkedly similar transcription profiles, and most harbored translocations in the or genes, which encode oncogenic transcription factors that may induce dramatic genetic and epigenetic changes leading to a dominant 'ACC phenotype'.

COVID-19 vaccines were quickly developed to protect against severe disease, hospitalization and death. In the present study, we performed a direct comparative analysis of four COVID-19 vaccines: BNT162b2 (Pfizer/BioNTech), mRNA-1273 (Moderna), ChAdOx1 (Oxford/AstraZeneca) and Ad26.

Microbiota restoration with faecal microbiota transplantation is an effective treatment option for patients with multiple recurring episodes of C difficile. We compared the efficacy and safety of faecal microbiota transplantation compared with placebo after vancomycin for first or second C difficile infection.

In this observational cohort study, we determine the risk of breakthrough infection in a fully vaccinated cohort. SARS-CoV-2 anti-spike IgG levels were measured before first SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and at day 21-28, 90 and 180, as well as after booster vaccination.

VR can increase access to rehabilitation by reducing access barriers. However, rehabilitation outcomes between immersive VR systems and conventional physical rehabilitation are not well understood.

Methods: Adults without history of SARS-CoV-2 infection from the Danish population scheduled for SARS-CoV-2 vaccination were enrolled in this parallel group, phase 4 study. SARS-CoV-2 Spike IgG and Spike-ACE2-receptor-blocking antibodies were measured at days 0, 21, 90, and 180.
Background: Most patients with endometrial cancer with localized disease are effectively treated and survive for a long time. The primary treatment is hysterectomy, to which surgical staging procedures may be added to assess the need for adjuvant therapy. Longitudinal data on patient-reported outcomes comparing different levels of primary treatment are lacking, especially when adjuvant radiotherapy is omitted.

The uptake of the dairy cattle protocol has been below expectation, however, and it has been criticized for the variable quality of the welfare measures and for a limited number of measures having a disproportionally large effect on the integrated welfare categorization. Aiming for a wide uptake by the milk industry, we revised and simplified the Welfare Quality® protocol into a user-friendly tool for cost- and time-efficient on-farm monitoring of dairy cattle welfare with a minimal number of key animal-based measures that are aggregated into a continuous (and thus discriminative) welfare index (WI).

In this national study, we present six cases and provide an overview of the current literature, characterizing the clinical and histopathological features of lymphomas involving this location. Clinical information was obtained retrospectively from patient records in a nationwide Danish study covering from 1980 through 2019.

Non-linear measures, such as Jensen-Shannon Divergence and Lempel-Ziv Complexity, may help explain when and how stroke survivors move so that interventions to increase activity may be designed more effectively.

In this case report, we present three new cases and compare them to previously published cases, with the aim of characterizing the clinical, morphological, histopathological, and genetic features of this type of malignancy. We provide a clinical description of three cases along with a characterization of the microscopic features, including morphology, and immunohistochemistry.
