[Ultrasonography-guided transrectal prostatic biopsy: indications, methods, complications. Our experience].

There are more than one indications and management regarding the role of the prostatic biopsy. Multiple ultrasound guided transrectal prostatic biopsies have been immediately indicated to these patients with total PSA up to 10 ng/ml even if digital rectal examination have been negative. If total PSA from 4 to 10 ng/ml and PSA ratio in the gray zone, we first started with an antiflogistic therapy for 40 days.
