Oral HPV infection is the main risk factor for the development of oropharyngeal carcinoma. Men who have sex with men (MSM), especially if living with HIV (PLWH), are at increased risk of infection and consequently of cancer development. Aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of nonavalent vaccine on oral HPV infection in a cohort of MSM and transgender women (TGW).

As highlighted by the Association of Stoma Care Nurses UK, this complication develops mainly in children and older men over 70, but many predisposing factors are related to the individual patient and surgery. There is no standardised system for assessing PH.

Setting: Time-trend, monocentric study on MSM living with HIV who underwent HPV test at anal site from 2015 to 2019.
Methods: Anal swabs were processed by multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction to detect HPV genotypes.
Objectives: The aim of the present study was too investigate prevalence and persistence of human papilloma virus (HPV) and cytological abnormalities (CAs) in the anal swabs of people living with HIV (PLWH): men who have sex with men (MSM), men who have sex with women (MSW) and women (W).
Methods: Between March 2010 and January 2019, an anal swab for cytological and HPV genotyping tests was offered to all PLWH attending our clinic. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify predictors of infection.
We aimed to analyze the results of 5-year consecutive use of the hemorrhoidal laser procedure (HeLP) in patients with second- to third-grade hemorrhoids with minimal or moderate mucosal prolapse. A total of 189 patients were treated between April 2012 and October 2017. We reported perioperative complications, postoperative pain, improvement of hemorrhoids grade, and relapse of hemorrhoidal disease (HD).

Clinical results of patients treated with this procedure were analyzed at the completion of 2-year follow-up. Primary endpoint was resolution of symptoms and secondary endpoints were recurrence rate, type of recurrences, re-operation rate, and potential predictive factors for failure.

This retrospective study was performed on 80 patients (male: 32, female: 48) with a median age of 60 years (39-89 years) with anal squamous cell carcinoma who were treated from March 2008 to March 2018 at the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital. Patients without clinical evidence of inguinal LNs metastases and/or with discordance between clinical evidence and imaging features were considered for SLNB.

Patients And Methods: Retrospective observational study on HIV-infected male patients who performed screening in the absence of clinical symptoms. Cytological abnormalities were classified as atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US), low-grade(LSIL) or high high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL).
Objective: To evaluate oncological and surgical outcome of patients submitted to neoadjuvant therapy for advanced rectal cancer.
Patients And Method: One hundred thirty eight patients (86 male, 52 female, mean age 61.4 years), with tumour of lower (58; 42%), middle (66; 48%), upper rectum (14; 10%), showing a clinical stage II (23; 17%) or III (115; 83%) and with an average distance from anal verge of 6.
