(1) Background: Foodborne diseases continue to affect millions of people around the world today, posing a huge challenge to public health. Our aim was to focus on the food safety knowledge and food hygiene knowledge of students at the University of Pécs, Hungary. - A quantitative study in summer 2023 assessed eating disorders among 222 certified competitive rowers using a validated questionnaire, revealing that lightweight rowers had higher scores in perfectionism and interoceptive awareness.
- The findings indicated that eating disorders in rowers are not more prevalent than in the general population, but emphasize the need for ongoing research and educational efforts due to the inherent risks in weight-related sports.
