One of the best-known Hungarian products on world wine market is Aszú, which belongs to the family of Tokaj wine specialties and is made from aszú berries. An important condition for the formation of aszú berries is the noble rot of technologically mature grapes, which is caused by Botrytis cinerea. At the same time botrytized sweet wines are produced not only in Hungary, but in many locations of wine-producing areas of Europe as well as in certain wine growing regions of other continents.

Background: The Iowa Infant Feeding Attitude Scale (IIFAS) is a widely used tool to assess attitudes towards infant feeding. Attitudes towards breastfeeding are one of the main influencing factors of feeding choice and breastfeeding duration. Soil moisture is one of the most important factors affecting soil biota. In arid and semi-arid ecosystems, soil mesofauna is adapted to temporary drought events, but, until now, we have had a limited understanding of the impacts of the different magnitudes and frequencies of drought predicted to occur according to future climate change scenarios. The present study focuses on how springtails and mites respond to simulated repeated drought events of different magnitudes in a field experiment in a Hungarian semi-arid sand steppe.

Among Fusarium mycotoxins, deoxynivalenol (DON) is the most common contaminant in case of cereals and cereal-based foods in Hungary. In this study, Hungarian wheat (n = 305), maize (n = 108), wheat flour (n = 179) and pasta (n = 226) samples were analysed (N = 818). The samples were collected during 2008-2015 in Hungary.

Participants of the Hungarian training program in mental health promotion described in this paper are human services professionals (mainly education and health professionals, religious and social workers). The aims of the three-year graduate program include the development of students' professional expertise with a body of knowledge of mental health promotion on the individual, community and social levels and with a mental-health-promoting attitude. Testing the effectiveness of the program must measure a change in this attitude rather than an increase in academic knowledge.

Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, Global Perceived Self-efficacy Scale, and Trait Form of State-Trait Anxiety Inventory were administered precamp, postcamp, and at 2 months follow-up to 97 adolescents. Within-subjects repeated measures analyses of variance were performed. Significant positive changes were observed regarding self-esteem and self-efficacy.

Frequent headaches and musculoskeletal pain problems were assessed as part of a cross-sectional health survey in a representative sample of 3615 young Hungarian women, aged 15-24 (mean age: 19.0 years). The representative sample was obtained by a multilevel stratified sampling procedure based on national statistical data, the refusal rate was 6%.
