A 90-year-old white male cadaver was found to have an incarcerated left inguinal hernia (IH). Although IHs are a very common pathology, the size and extent of this IH make it a unique case study. Upon gross dissection of the abdominal and pelvic cavities, 79 cm of small and large bowel was removed from the scrotal sac.
