Behçet's disease leaves the silk road.

Behçet's disease is rarely recognized among Caucasians, while it is endemic in countries of the Eastern and Central Asia, especially in Turkey. The aim of the manuscript is to present the clinical picture, diagnosis criteria and therapeutic approaches of this rare disease which, because of intensive migration, can occur not only in particular regions of the world.

Psoriasis rupioides: a rare variant of a common disease.

Psoriasis lesions typically are classified by their morphologic appearance and include plaque, guttate, pustular, and erythrodermic forms. Few review articles on psoriasis discuss the rare variant termed psoriasis rupioides. We report a case of psoriasis rupioides and discuss the unique features of this unusual form of psoriasis.

Plaque form of warty dyskeratoma - acantholytic dyskeratotic acanthoma.

We report the case of a 64-year-old man with a plaque-like lesion on the lower back. Clinically, squamous cell carcinoma was suspected, but the histological features resembled those of isolated Darier's disease or pemphigus vegetans. The lesion was removed with the final diagnosis of acantholytic dyskeratotic acanthoma.

Cryotherapy in the treatment of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia.

Background: Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is a benign and very rare skin disorder of uncertain etiology. It occurs in both dermal and subcutaneous forms, which are regarded as variants of the same condition. Clinically, it is characterised by solitary or multiple, red to brown cutaneous papules or nodules, usually located on the head and neck.
