This study aims to highlight the significance of low MOG IgG antibody positivity and its diagnostic implications in a real-world cohort.
Methods: In this retrospective observational study, serum and CSF from suspected MOGAD cases were tested at a tertiary healthcare centre's Neuroimmunology Laboratory.
Background: The current study estimated incident breakthrough seizures, serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), and perfusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) parameters in five- to 18-year-olds with neurocysticercosis (NCC) from colloidal or vesicular through calcified stages over at least 24 months' follow-up.
Methods: Single, colloidal, or vesicular parenchymal NCC cases were treated with albendazole and steroids and followed at a tertiary care north Indian hospital. Serum MMP-9 was estimated in colloidal or vesicular treatment-naive state and in a subset of calcified cases at six-month follow-up.
Background: To describe the clinical features and therapeutic outcomes of a prospective cohort of children with eosinophilic meningoencephalitis.
Methods: Children admitted with clinical features suggestive of meningitis along with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) eosinophilia during the period of 14 years (2008 to 2021) were included. Their baseline characteristics, epidemiologic associations, and treatment outcomes were analyzed and compared with the previous studies.
Diaphragmatic flutter (DF) is an unusual movement disorder with involuntary and repetitive contractions of the diaphragm with or without other abdominal muscle involvement. The disorder is known to occur across all ages including newborns. The etiology is diverse and so are the therapeutic options.

It is hallmarked by episodic and excessive startle response, brief episodes of intense, generalized hypertonia, or stiffness in response to unexpected auditory and/or tactile stimuli right from birth. Though a seemingly benign entity with an excellent prognosis, hyperekplexia has been occasionally associated with recurrent apneas, feeding difficulties, and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
