Primary failure of eruption (PFE) is a rare, nonsyndromic condition in which non-ankylosed teeth fail to erupt either fully or partially due to malfunction of the eruption mechanism. Three young patients are presented in this article with features consistent with a diagnosis of PFE. The features of this condition are described together with different modalities of treatment planning for such patients.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major 21st century global health challenge. The WHO African Region Member States committed to develop and implement multisectoral national action plans (NAPs) that address AMR, in line with the Global Action Plan on AMR (GAP).
