Posteruptive Intracoronal Resorption in a 9-year-old with Molar Incisor Hypomineralization: A Case Report.

Objectives: The case report highlights the management of late-stage sequelae of preeruptive intracoronal resorption (PEIR) with molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH).

Materials And Methods: A 9-year-old patient presented with occlusal cavitations in her upper and lower permanent molars with vascularized tissue seen within the dentin, without any connections with the dental pulp, and no evidence of carious activity within the lesion. The affected teeth were debrided, and Biodentine™ was placed to preserve the vital pulp.

Knowledge, Awareness, and Practice Regarding Management of Dental Trauma in Children among Dental Practitioners: A Cross-sectional Survey.

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the current level of knowledge and understanding about dental trauma and its management in children among dental practitioners.

Materials And Methods: The study was conducted after obtaining the ethical clearance from the Institutional Review Board (IRB). A structured questionnaire was prepared, which comprised 20 questions and was validated by dental trauma experts.

Comparison of postoperative pain following single-visit and two-visit root canal therapy in controlled diabetic patients with irreversible pulpitis: A randomized control trial.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the prevalence of postoperative pain after single- and two-visit endodontic therapy in controlled Type 2 diabetic and nondiabetic individuals in multirooted teeth with irreversible pulpitis.

Materials And Methods: Ninety patients with irreversible pulpitis (30 controlled diabetics and 60 nondiabetics), between 18 and 60 years were included in the study. After obtaining initial pain scores, patients were randomly allocated to single-visit or two-visit root canal treatment (RCT) groups to receive standardized treatment.
