Translation and Transcultural Validation of Migraine Screening Questionnaire (MS-Q).

Introduction: Between 30 to 59% of patients with migraine without aura are undiagnosed and improperly treated, because primary care physicians are either too busy or unfamiliar with criteria for diagnosing migraine.

Aim: The aim of our study was to translate the Migraine Screen Questionnaire (MS-Q) to BHS (Bosnian/Croatian /Serbian) language and to test reliability and validity of the translation on a sample of primary care patients.

Material And Methods: The study was designed as cross-sectional, multi centric, diagnostic accuracy trial of an instrument for screening patients who visit general practitioners, with an aim to reveal migraine without aura.

Prognostic significance of mucin expression in urothelial bladder cancer.

Urothelial bladder cancer (UBC) is a common genitourinary malignancy, accounting for more than 160.000 deaths per year worldwide. Overexpression and aberrant glycosylation of mucins are frequent traits of many human cancers derived from epithelial cells, and are found to have prognostic significance in various carcinomas.

Expression of regulatory proteins and proliferative activity in relation to phenotypic characteristics of upper urothelial carcinoma.

Background/aim: Deregulation of the normal cell cycle is common in upper urothelial carcinoma (UUC). The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of regulatory proteins of the cell cycle (p53, p16, cyclin D1, HER-2) and proliferative Ki-67 activity in UUC, and to determine their interaction and influence on the phenotypic characteristics of UUC.

Methods: In 44 patients with UUC, histopathological and immunohistochemical analyses (p53, p16, cyclin D1, HER-2, and Ki-67) of tumors were done.
