Objective: To determine whether the T2 fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (T2-FLAIR) mismatch sign in diffuse gliomas is associated with an equivalent pattern of disparity in signal intensities when comparing T2- and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).

Methods: The level of correspondence between T2-FLAIR and T2-DWI evaluations in 34 World Health Organization grade II/III gliomas and interreader agreement among 3 neuroradiologists were assessed by calculating intraclass correlation coefficient and κ statistics, respectively. Tumoral apparent diffusion coefficient values were compared using t test.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess diagnostic accuracies of ultrasonography (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in lesions that manifest as mammographic BI-RADS 4 and 5 microcalcifications, in the setting of conjoined use of mammography, US, and MRI.

Methods: Patients with mammographic BI-RADS 4 or 5 microcalcifications, without additional findings, were included in this prospective study. All patients subsequently underwent breast US and MRI.

The purpose of the study was to evaluate and compare opacification of the renal collecting system and ureters detected by computed tomographic urography (CTU) performed 20 min and 1 h after the ingestion of 1,000 ml of water. CTU was performed on 89 patients (55 men, 34 women; age 28-77 years) and 168 collecting systems and ureters were evaluated. A 16-detector-row scanner (Sensation 16, Siemens) was used; a two-phase protocol with a split bolus of contrast agent (total 120 ml) was applied.
