Link is a plant rich in polyphenols that has been used mainly for its hypoglycemic activity, which is related to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential. However, the beneficial effect of these bioactive compounds is directly dependent on their bioaccessibility and bioavailability, requiring processing techniques that can improve and preserve their biological activities. This work aimed to obtain nanocapsulated extracts from the infusion (ESIN) and decoction (ESDC) of Link leaves, by spray drying.

Objective: To develop an analytical method to simultaneous quantification of benznidazole (BNZ) and posaconazole (POS) by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection (HPLC-DAD) using design of experiments.

Methods: Percentages of organic phase, buffer pH and flow rates of mobile phase were selected as independent variables by full factorial design (33), totaling 27 experiments. Significant factors were evaluated using factorial analysis of variance with 95% confidence level.

This study's aim was to obtain composites from palygorskite (PLG) and chitosan (CS) in order to modify 5-aminosalicylic (5-ASA) release. Initially, the PLG:CS composite was obtained using glutaraldehyde (GLA) as a reticular agent. Then, PLG, CS and PLG:CS were characterized by means of analytical techniques such as CHN elemental analysis, surface area analysis, XRD, FTIR, DSC and TG, SEM, adsorption tests and release profiles.
