Objective: To investigate the intraperitoneal (IP) administration of ropivacaine or ropivacaine-dexmedetomidine for postoperative analgesia in cats undergoing ovariohysterectomy.

Study Design: Prospective, randomized, blinded, positively controlled clinical study.
