From an early age, people are exposed to risk factors that can lead to musculoskeletal disorders like low back pain, neck pain and scoliosis. Medical screenings at an early age might minimize their incidence. The study intends to improve a software that processes images of patients, using specific anatomical sites to obtain risk indicators for possible musculoskeletal problems.

Measures of such imbalance can be used as a biomarker of stress in ecotoxicology. In this study, we implemented the ROS detection method based on the oxidant-sensing probe dichloro-dihydro-fluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA), detected by fluorescence microscopy, in adults and cocoons, i.

The use of PDT with systemic photosensitizer needs to be further explored as a modality of treatment for nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC).
Objective: The objective was to present six patients with multiple, nodular, and/or pigmented NMSC treated successfully with purified hematoporphyrin derivative (PHD) and PDT using prior debulking.
