A single-center kidney transplantation experience in children with low weight: is low weight a contraindication?

Objective: Kidney transplantation (KT) might be difficult for underweight kids (under 15 kg). Our goal was to convey information on KT in underweight children.

Patients And Methods: The study's target population consisted of children (age 18) weighing 15 kg or fewer who received KT at our facility between January 2018 and June 2021.

Two pseudotumor cases mimicking liver malignancy.

Inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver is a rare benign tumor that can be confused with malignant tumors of the liver. It is usually diagnosed after pathologic evaluation of the resected lesion. If a mass lesion in the liver is suspicious for malignancy on radiologic evaluation then surgical resection is planned for suitable patients rather than a biopsy.

Introduction: Non- Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) mimicking Klatskin's tumor is rare but possible. It can be confused with tumors for which major surgery is needed. Imaging modalities have similar features in Klatskin's tumor and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
