Heavy metals (HMs) enter waterbodies through various means, which, when exceeding a threshold limit, cause toxic effects both on the environment and in humans upon entering their systems. Recent times have seen an increase in such HM influx incident rates. This requires an instant response in this regard to review the challenges in the available classical methods for HM detection and removal.

Assessment of DNA and ligand interaction is a great challenge to the medical researchers and drug industries since the accurate mapping of DNA and ligand plays an important role in associating drugs for suitable diseases. The primary objective of this research work is to develop an efficient model for predicting the best DNA and Ligand mapping. In this research work, 500 instances of DNA and drugs used for cancer and non-cancer diseases from the National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) were considered for analysis.

This paper proposes a new algorithm for prophage loci prediction in bacteria. Prophages are defined in Bioinformatics as viral nucleotide sequences that are found intermixed with host nucleotide sequences in bacteria. The proposed algorithm uses machine learning patterns and processing methodologies in order to provide a highly efficient system for loci prediction, thereby reducing the time-space complexity required unlike others of its class.

In the current agricultural scenario, availability of suitable land for cultivation is less and profitable allocation of the land for cultivating crops seems to be a cumbersome task. Crop planning optimization is a major research field in agriculture, in which land optimization is a significant challenge, which falls under the category of combinatorial optimization problems. The main objective of the present research is to maximize the net income from agriculture through optimal land allocation.
