Introduction: Endovascular recanalization therapy has demonstrated considerable efficacy in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). However, not all patients appear to benefit on the long term from this therapy. No studies have assessed the role of Cerebrolysin following mechanical thrombectomy (MT).

Due to the complexity of the LA geometry, currently used techniques like antero-posterior dimension (LAD) and 2D echo derived LA volume (LAV) have several limitations that are corrected by 3D derived LA volumes in addition to functional evaluation.
Purpose: To assess the LA functions using 2D speckle tracking echocardiography and 3D transthoracic echocardiography in patients with clinically significant MS in comparison to normal healthy subjects.
To present the first case of macular serpiginous choroiditis after COVID-19 infection. A single case was analyzed. A 28-year-old previously healthy man presented with severe unilateral vision loss in the left eye.

Therapeutic failure is often encountered due to inherent or acquired resistance to chemotherapy. Previous studies implicated PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway in cancer stem cells (CSCs) enrichment and hence chemoresistance.

Objective: To see if estimation of PMI is possible using miRNA-21 and Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) expression levels in the heart samples from aluminum phosphide toxicity (Alpt).

Background: Soft tissue defects in the lower third of the leg present significant challenges for surgeons. Despite various options available for soft tissue coverage, selecting the most suitable option is limited by potential complications. In response to this challenge, some surgeons have sought to develop algorithms to guide decision-making in the management of lower leg trauma.

In this study, we aimed to examine the effects of AHF at the time of admission on the coronary thrombus burden and post-primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) coronary flow among STEMI patients. Methods We conducted a cohort study involving 210 consecutive STEMI patients who presented to a single PPCI centre between June 2016 and January 2017.

We aimed in our study to show the differences clinically or angiographically (guided by IVUS) between the use of single long stent versus overlapping stents in very long coronary lesions (≥40 mm) in patients presented with chronic coronary syndromes.
Methods: 550 patients presenting with chronic coronary syndromes were included: 320 treated with a single long stent (≥40 mm) and 230 patients with two or more overlapping stents.
Purpose: Up to 50% of patients do not achieve significant left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) recovery after primary percutaneous intervention (PPCI) for STEMI. We aimed to identify the echocardiographic predictors for LVEF recovery and assess the value of early follow-up echocardiography (Echo) in risk assessment of post-myocardial infarction (MI) patients.
Methods: One hundred one STEMI patients undergoing PPCI were enrolled provided EF below 50%.
: Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiONPs) are widely utilized and consumed mainly as food additives. Oxidative stress is considered to be the basic effect of TiONPs through biological interactions. Hesperidin (HSP) is a bioflavonoid (flavanone glycoside) with lipid-lowering, inflammation, oxidative stress suppression, antihypertensive, cancer-fighting, and antiedema effects.

This study explores sex variation in a large number of patients and compares stroke characteristics among women in different age groups and across different countries.

Lack of AIRE abrogates thymic tolerance. The autoimmune eye disease associated with DS has not been characterized.

Nandrolone Decanoate is one of the Class II anabolic androgenic steroids which quickly spread globally and used clinically and illicitly. Our research was directed to assess the toxic effects of anabolic steroids on cardiac and skeletal muscles in male albino rats and to evaluate the potential ameliorative effects of fenugreek seeds extract and silymarin.

Recent studies have revealed that specific blood-based long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are deregulated in patients with AMI and serve as promising diagnostic and prognostic tools. The current study aimed to determine the potential role of a hypoxia-responsive lncRNA, hypoxia-inducible factor 1A antisense RNA 2 (HIF1A-AS2), as a biomarker for early diagnosis and predictor of left ventricular dysfunction (LVD).

The aim of the study is to compare the current status of managing STEMI patients at **** with European Society of Cardiology guidelines recommendations. Prospective cohort of all patients presenting with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) between March 2020 and February 2021 in Alexandria University hospitals.

Background: The COVID-19 vaccine-related Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) has been described for both messenger-RNA vaccine and adenovirus-vectored types in a few cases with great public concern and the necessity to inform physicians about the variations of its presentations given its life-threatening consequences.
Case Presentation: This case series highlighted the presentation with GBS following different COVID-19 vaccinations in seven cases with ages ranging from 29 to 59 years. Three patients received the AstraZeneca vaccine, two received the Pfizer vaccine, one received Sinopharm, and one received the Janssen vaccine.
Background: The Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events (GRACE) study showed that admission HF is associated with longer hospital stay and higher mortality in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. No data are available on the effect of heart failure (HF) on the length of cardiac care unit (CCU) stay and in-hospital major adverse cardiac events (MACEs). The link between the severity of HF and the in-hospital prognosis is not established.

Ticagrelor is an oral, reversible inhibitor of the adenosine diphosphate receptor P2Y12 with a faster onset and more potent platelet inhibition than clopidogrel. A study was needed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of generic ticagrelor in Egyptian patients.

Observations: The ciliochoroidal detachments developed in the absence of documented post-procedure hypotony or intraocular pressure fluctuation. Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) confirmed serous ciliochoroidal detachment.
