The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) illness led to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, which has caused enormous health and financial losses, as well as challenges to global health. Iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) has been linked to adverse outcomes in patients infected with SARS-COV-2. The present study aimed to assess the association between IDA and the severity of COVID-19 in hospitalized patients.

We wish to investigate whether 10 days of DAPT is as effective as 21 days' treatment.
Study Design: This is an open-label, randomized, parallel-group study comparing whether 10 days of DAPT treatment (ASA + clopidogrel) is non-inferior to 21 days of DAPT in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) or high-risk TIA.
Stroke is a key cerebrovascular disease and important cause of death and disability worldwide, including in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It has a large economic burden and serious socioeconomic impacts on patients, their families and the community. The incidence of ischemic stroke is probably increased by the interaction of GSTT1 and GSTM1 null genotypes with high blood pressure, diabetes and cigarette smoking.

The contribution of morphological characteristics to treatment decisions of unruptured aneurysms has not been well studied in a systematic and location specific manner. We present a large sample of basilar artery tip aneurysms (BTA) that were assessed using a diverse array of morphological variables to determine the parameters associated with ruptured aneurysms.

Hemodynamic stress plays a particular role in the formation of intracranial aneurysms, which is conditioned by the geometry and morphology of the vessel trees.
Objective: To identify image-based morphological parameters that correlated with the formation of basilar artery tip aneurysms (BTAs) in a location-specific manner.
