[Access to the internet among nurses and type of information sought].

Objective: To identify how nurses use the Internet through a survey performed in May 2005.

Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was performed. The information source was a survey sent electronically and through surface mail.

[Subcutaneous venous reservoir. How nurses use it].

In the Onco-Medical Ward at the University General Hospital in Valencia, a transversal observational study was carried out to determine the awareness professionals at this center have regarding subcutaneous venous reservoirs. This study also tried to verify if there is any basis for complaints some patients who have a subcutaneous venous reservoir about the lack of use some professional make of this system. The study concludes that it is necessary to increase the awareness professionals in our center have about subcutaneous venous reservoirs by means of the acquisition of a triangular compromise.
