Single Transmitter Direction Finding Using a Single Moving Omnidirectional Antenna.

Traditional direction-finding systems are based on processing the outputs of multiple spatially separated antennas. The impinging signal Angle-of-Arrival (AOA) is estimated using the relative phase and amplitude of the multiple outputs that are sampled simultaneously. Here, we explore the potential of a single moving antenna to provide useful direction finding of a single transmitter.
