Purpose: To evaluate the primary use of a laser atherectomy-thrombectomy system in patients with acute limb ischemia (ALI).
Materials And Methods: A single-center retrospective review of patients presenting with ALI (14 days or less) from August 2021 to February 2024 treated primarily with a laser atherectomy-thrombectomy system (Auryon; Angiodynamics, Queensbury, New York) was performed. Technical success was defined by resolution of the acute occlusion with adequate inflow and outflow with pedal signals detectable by handheld doppler ultrasound.
Management of acute pancreatitis is challenging in the presence of local complications that include pancreatic and peripancreatic collections and vascular complications. This review, targeted for interventional radiologists, describes minimally invasive endoscopic, image-guided percutaneous, and surgical procedures for management of complicated pancreatitis and provides insight into the procedures' algorithmic application. Local complications are optimally managed in a multidisciplinary team setting that includes advanced endoscopists; pancreatic surgeons; diagnostic and interventional radiologists; and specialists in infectious disease, nutrition, and critical care medicine.

The present study aimed to assess the validity, reliability, and cross-cultural adaptation of the Persian version of the KOS-ADL scale.
Methods: In this cross-sectional and psychometric study, 130 patients (14 men and 116 women) with different grades of knee osteoarthritis were recruited.
Pulmonary embolism is a commonly encountered diagnosis that is traditionally identified on conventional computed tomography angiography. Dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) is a new technology that may aid the initial identification and differential diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. In this review, we present an algorithmic approach for assessing pulmonary embolism on DECT, including acute versus chronic pulmonary embolism, relationship to conventional computed tomography angiography, surrogate for likelihood of hemodynamic significance, and alternative diagnoses for DECT perfusion defects.

Levels of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), especially those measured after orchiectomy, also have implications for patient prognosis. Given that testicular germ cell tumors represent the most common solid tumor in men aged 20-34, radiologists must have familiarity with the clinical utilization and implications of these STMs.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of ACL reconstruction and extra-articular reconstruction on joint motion in the ACL-deficient knee and in the combined ACL and anterolateral capsule-deficient knee.
Methods: An anterior tibial load of 134 N and internal tibial torque of 7 Nm were applied to 7 fresh-frozen cadaveric knees using a robotic testing system continuously throughout the range of flexion.
Background: There is currently disagreement with regard to the presence of a distinct ligament in the anterolateral capsular complex of the knee and its role in the pivot-shift mechanism and rotatory laxity of the knee.
Purpose: To investigate the anatomic and histological properties of the anterolateral capsular complex of the fetal knee to determine whether there exists a distinct ligamentous structure running from the lateral femoral epicondyle inserting into the anterolateral tibia.
