Assessment of short-term results of thrombosuction during primary percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction.

The study investigated the short-term outcomes of thrombosuction during primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with acute myocardial infarction. The study consisted of 57 patients who underwent primary or rescue PCI. The effect of thrombosuction on thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) flow, failure to restore blood flow in the target vessel, and occurrence of mortality were reviewed in patients.
