Prognostic accuracy of emergency surgery score: a systematic review.

Purpose: This systematic review aimed to summarize the literature regarding the prognostic accuracy of the emergency surgery score (ESS).

Method: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Scopus were comprehensively searched by May 30, 2023. Two independent researchers performed the initial screening by reviewing the titles and abstracts of the non-duplicate records and selecting the full text of articles meeting our inclusion criteria.
