Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by neuronal degeneration and inflammation in the nerves. G-CSF is a 19.6-kDa hematopoietic growth factor which is essential for the proliferation and differentiation of granulocyte hematopoietic progenitors.
