Background: Persistence on-treatment with antimuscarinics in patients with overactive bladder (OAB) is reported to be sub-optimal. This retrospective, longitudinal, observational cohort study assessed treatment persistence with β-adrenoceptor agonists (i.e.

Objective: To compare persistence and adherence with mirabegron versus tolterodine extended release (ER) and other antimuscarinics in routine clinical practice over a 12-mo period.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Retrospective, longitudinal, observational study of anonymised data from the UK Clinical Practice Research Datalink GOLD database.

Background And Objective: Huntington's disease (HD) is an inherited neurodegenerative disorder that heavily affects the patient's motor, cognitive, and psychological functions. Yet, very few studies have measured the impact of this disease on the patient's health-related quality of life (HRQoL) with specific and validated instruments. The aim of this study was to explore the impact of HD on the HRQoL of Spanish HD patients using the self-reported, Huntington Quality of Life Instrument (H-QoL-I) and the generic instrument EuroQoL five dimensions (EQ-5D-3L) and thereafter compare the results obtained with the two instruments.

Adequate dosing levels are important to control cravings, prevent withdrawal syndrome, and maintain patients in treatment. The objective of this study was to estimate the impact of dosing on treatment persistence, resource utilization, and total direct health care costs.

Objectives: To compare patient persistence and resource utilization between formulations for the treatment of opioid dependence.
Methods: A longitudinal, retrospective cohort analysis was conducted to compare persistence and healthcare costs in a private US insurance claims database.
Background: Recurrent vulvovaginal candidosis (RVVC) is a chronic condition causing discomfort and pain. Health status and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in RVVC were never previously described using validated questionnaires. The objective of this study is to describe subjective health status and HRQoL and estimate health state utilities among women with RVVC.
