Cu/CuO/C nanoparticles and MXene based composite for non-enzymatic glucose sensors.

Copper/Cuprous oxide/Carbon nanoparticles decorated MXene composite was prepared and subsequently examined for its potential application as a non-enzymatic glucose sensor. To carry out this, initially the Cu MOF/MXene composite was synthesised by the hydrothermal method and was annealed in an unreacted environment at different time intervals. During this process, petal like Cu MOF on MXene loses the organic ligands to form a Cu/CuO/C based nanoparticles on MXene.
