Purpose: Adaptive radiation therapy (ART) is a close-looped process where anatomic changes observed during treatment are identified, leading to plan modification prior to treatment delivery. The aim of this study was to explore the status of ART across Canada and review the impact of adaptive technologies on the roles and responsibilities of Radiation Therapists (RTTs).

Our group have demonstrated that hesperidin has neuroprotective effect in 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) model of Parkinson's disease (PD), mainly by antioxidant mechanisms. Although the pathophysiology of PD remains uncertain, a large body of evidence has demonstrated that mitochondrial dysfunction and apoptosis play a critical role in dopaminergic nigrostriatal degeneration.

Method: a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach conducted with a sample of 293 mental health service workers from the public network of a municipality in the inland of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective effects of hesperidin in a murine model of PD are not fully elucidated. The current study was carried out to investigate the ability of hesperidin in modulating proinflammatory cytokines, neurotrophic factors, and neuronal recovery in 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA)-induced nigral dopaminergic neuronal loss. First magnetic resonance imaging-guided cardiac radioablation of sustained ventricular tachycardia.

Purpose: To report the feasibility of magnetic resonance imaging-guided cardiac single fraction radioablation (MRgRA) in a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy and recurrent sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) leading to electrical storms (ES).

Materials/methods: A workflow to perform Stereotactic Arrhythmia Radioablation (STAR) on a hybrid MR-Linac with real-time tracking and beam-gating was established.
