This paper presents an analysis of three alternative options to the current rebate model: retaining retroactive rebates but requiring 100% pass-through of rebates and fees to plan sponsors; retaining retroactive rebates but requiring that patients share in rebates at the point of sale; and eliminating retroactive rebates and replacing the current structure with upfront discounts. Because the CL exceedance is used to inform policy decisions, uncertainty in both the CL and the exceedance itself must be understood. Seagrass communities, dominated by , form the principal benthic ecosystem within Florida Bay, Florida USA. The bay has had several large-scale seagrass die-offs in recent decades associated with drought and hypersaline conditions. Methods: Semi-structured interviews (n = 22) were conducted with directors, educators and cooks at long day care services (LDCS) (n = 12) regarding nutritional adequacy, the use of tools, guidelines and checklists, menu planning and identification and management of unhealthy foods. A qualitative thematic approach was used to identify anticipated and emergent themes.
Background: In health state valuation studies, health states are typically presented as a series of sentences, each describing a health dimension and severity 'level'. Differences in the severity levels can be subtle, and confusion about which is 'worse' can lead to logically inconsistent valuation data. A solution could be to mimic the way patients self-report health, where the ordinal structure of levels is clear.
