Objectives: To determine incidence and risk factors for hypertension in childhood nephrotic syndrome.
Study Design: Using data from the Insight into Nephrotic Syndrome (INSIGHT) study, a prospective observational childhood nephrotic syndrome cohort from Toronto, Canada, we evaluated hypertension incidence and time-to-hypertension overall and stratified by 1) steroid-resistance or steroid-sensitivity, and 2) frequently-relapsing, steroid dependent, or infrequently-relapsing. Hypertension was defined as stage 1-2 hypertensive blood pressure on two consecutive visits or anti-hypertensive medication initiation.
Background: Steroid-sparing immunosuppression is used in 50% of children with nephrotic syndrome, to prevent relapses and steroid-related toxicity. However, rates and predictors of prolonged remission after cyclophosphamide and tacrolimus are uncertain.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of children (1-18 years) enrolled in a longitudinal cohort.
In this study, six individual machine learning (ML) models and a stacked ensemble model (SEM) were used for daytime visibility estimation at Bangkok airport during the dry season (November-April) for 2017-2022. The individual ML models are random forest, adaptive boosting, gradient boosting, extreme gradient boosting, light gradient boosting machine, and cat boosting. The SEM was developed by the combination of outputs from the individual models.

The entire data were collected for five types (brain CT, chest CT, chest HRCT, abdomen KUB CT and abdomen + pelvic CT) CT investigations based on anatomic region (head, chest and abdomen + pelvic).
Introduction: Mantle cell lymphoma is a rare lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract that may present as multiple lymphomatous polyposis. We report a case of lymphomatous polyposis with a review of the literature.
Case Report: A 56-year-old man of Black ethnicity and Ivorian nationality with no relevant past medical history, consulted for a sudden onset symptoms of gastrointestinal obstruction, which evolved over 2 days.
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the synergistic impact of workplace spirituality (WPS), responsible leadership (RL), and pro-environmental behavior (PEB) within the context of Pakistan's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) along with the mediating mechanism of Affective commitment (AC).
Methods: Our study utilizes structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze survey data collected from 390 employees within Pakistani SMEs. We develop a single unified framework to test the hypothesized relationships between RL, PEB, and AC as a mediator.

This study deals with haze characteristics under the influence of the cold surge and sea breeze for Greater Bangkok (GBK) in 2017-2022, including haze intensity and duration, meteorological classification for haze, and the potential effects of secondary aerosols and biomass burning. A total of 38 haze episodes and 159 haze days were identified. The episode duration varies from a single day to up to 14 days, suggesting different pathways of its formation and evolution.

They mostly consist of basidiomycetes, but also include some ascomycetes. Mycology in Pakistan is still in its infancy, but there have been many historical reports and checklists of macrofungi occurrence from its 15 ecoregions, which range from Himalayan alpine grasslands and subtropical pine forests to deserts and xeric shrublands.

This research proposes a research model that elucidates the mechanism by which Corporate social responsibility (CSR), ethical leadership, and moral reflectiveness promote pro-environmental behavior among employees of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). In today's ever-changing environment, small and medium companies (SMEs) are critical for any economy to thrive and prosper.

For parents and children managing care at home and at risk for COVID-19, the impact on their psychosocial functioning is unknown.
Methods: A total of 122 families of children aged 2-18 years were enrolled as part of the prospective cohort of childhood nephrotic syndrome and completed a survey during the first wave of the pandemic (August 21-December 10), 2020.
The purpose of the study is to observe the impact of policy intervention on financial sustainability using the structural vector autoregression (SVAR) analysis. The population of the study is the manufacturing sector of Pakistan, which is an emerging economy. Data for 249 firms operating in the manufacturing sector are taken, collected from Datastream from 2005 to 2019, with total observations of 2,400.

Visibility degradation intensifies in the dry season as compared to the wet season due to increase in PM and unfavorable meteorological conditions. The average visibility is lower in January and February as compared to the other months.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of touch-screen technology usage on hand skills among preschool children. Case-control design was employed to compare the hand skills of children who were engaged in touch-screen technology.

This present work investigates several local and synoptic meteorological aspects associated with two wintertime haze episodes in Greater Bangkok using observational data, covering synoptic patterns evolution, day-to-day and diurnal variation, dynamic stability, temperature inversion, and back-trajectories. The episodes include an elevated haze event of 16 days (14-29 January 2015) for the first episode and 8 days (19-26 December 2017) for the second episode, together with some days before and after the haze event. Daily PM was found to be 50 µg m or higher over most of the days during both haze events.

Objective: Synergistic anti-MRSA activity was investigated in this study for hybrid material composite spheres of amoxicillin, Ag nanoparticles, and chitosan, which were prepared by one-step synthesis method, and various characterizations were performed.
Methods: Antimicrobial-susceptibility assay on MRSA was achieved by disc diffusion and agar dilution techniques, while agar well diffusion was used for hybrid composite spheres.

Materials And Methods: Experimental dentifrices were synthesized by incorporating ZnO nanoparticles and F-nBG (1.5 wt% and 4 wt%) as active ingredients.
To investigate the effects of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) on chloroquine (CQ)-induced itching, and overall behavior of mice after oral administration of ZnO NPs of various sizes and doses. With the wide-spread use of ZnO NPs in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, concerns about their safety and toxicity are also increasing. Multiple aspects of ZnO NPs regarding cytotoxicity and tolerability are under investigation globally.

Objectives: Levosulpiride is a widely used gastroprokinetic agent in the treatment of various gastric disorders; however, its short half-life and increased dosage frequency leads to non-compliance and possible adverse effects. The prime objective of the current study was to develop a sustained-release formulation of Levosulpiride incorporating bioresorbable cellulose derivatives.
Materials And Methods: Sustained-release formulations of Levosulpiride were prepared through direct compression using various cellulose derivatives such as CMC sodium, HPC, and HPMC in different polymer-to-drug weight ratios as release-modifying polymers.
