Background: Doxorubicin (DOX) drugs used in cancer treatment can cause various adverse effects, including hepatotoxicity. Natural-derived constituents have shown promising effects in alleviating chemotherapy-induced toxicities. This study addressed the effect of Avenanthramides-C (AVN-C) treatment in rats with DOX-indued hepatotoxicity.

One is the iron-dependent form of ferroptosis, which is characterized by elevated ROS production and iron overload. has a diverse range of biological and pharmaceutical actions due to their antioxidant properties.

Immediate extraction and precipitation of the nucleic acids reduces degradation to a minimum, thus preserving accurate sequence information. An extraction method to obtain high quality DNA in field studies is described.

We find that the central base in almost all triples forms base pairs with the other two bases of the triple, providing a natural way to geometrically classify base triples. Given 12 geometric base pair families defined by the Leontis-Westhof nomenclature, combinatoric enumeration predicts 108 potential geometric base triple families.
