Psychosocial screening, in-patient care, and disposition planning: Clinicians' perspectives.

Objective: Our objective was to explore clinicians' views on the MyHEARTSMAP screening report; whether this report has impacted their patient care, and if so, how. MyHEARTSMAP is a psychosocial self-screening tool for youth to identify mental health concerns.

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study as a sub-study of the MyHEARTSMAP In-Patient randomized control trial.

Brunner's gland adenoma: a robotic approach.

This report describes an unusual case of a symptomatic Brunner's gland adenoma arising in a man in his 40s that underwent robotic transduodenal resection. Initial investigations revealed a polypoidal, submucosal lesion that was found in the first part of the duodenum. Microscopically, there was neither dysplasia nor evidence of adenocarcinoma, suggesting differentials of gastrointestinal stroma tumour and duodenal adenoma.

A scalable, multi-wavelength, broad bandwidth frequency-domain near-infrared spectroscopy platform for real-time quantitative tissue optical imaging.

Frequency-domain near-infrared spectroscopy (FD-NIRS) provides quantitative noninvasive measurements of tissue optical absorption and scattering, as well as a safe and accurate method for characterizing tissue composition and metabolism. However, the poor scalability and high complexity of most FD-NIRS systems assembled to date have contributed to its limited clinical impact. To address these shortcomings, we present a scalable, digital-based FD-NIRS platform capable of measuring optical properties and tissue chromophore concentrations in real-time.
