Linalool, a natural compound found in aromatic plants, was loaded onto gold nanoparticles and combined with a CALNN peptide to study its anticancer effects on breast cancer cells (MCF-7).
The formation of these compounds was characterized through various tests, and their ability to scavenge free radicals and compatibility with blood cells was confirmed.
Results indicated that the compounds effectively stopped cell growth and induced cell death in MCF-7 cells without any side effects, suggesting potential for future cancer therapies.
