Intraosseouss degenerative cyst of the axis approached via transcervical extrapharyngeal avenue.

Intraosseous degenerative cysts (IDC) of the cervical spine are rare. IDC within C2 have been reported in three articles only. We report a patient with neck pain due to a IDC within C2.
