Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the burden of disease among a real-world cohort of patients with prevalent Crohn's disease (CD) in Germany.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis using administrative claims data from the German AOK PLUS health insurance fund. Continuously insured patients with a CD diagnosis between 01 October 2014 and 31 December 2018 were selected and followed for at least 12 months or longer until death or end of data availability on 31 December 2019.

Objectives: Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) are independently associated with comorbidities, including obesity and metabolic syndrome, which may impact treatment outcomes. This study aimed to assess baseline differences between patients with plaque psoriasis alone and those with concomitant PsA, and to investigate the impact of these characteristics on ustekinumab (UST) persistence and outcomes.

Methods: 9057 patients receiving UST or conventional systemic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs were selected from the British Association of Dermatologists Biologic and Immunomodulators Register.

Background: The positioning of new biologic agents for the treatment of Crohn's disease (CD) following failure of initial anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) therapy remains a challenge in the real world.

Ustekinumab has shown efficacy in Crohn's Disease (CD) patients. To identify patient profiles of those who benefit the most from this treatment would help to position this drug in the therapeutic paradigm of CD and generate hypotheses for future trials. The objective of this analysis was to determine whether baseline patient characteristics are predictive of remission and the drug durability of ustekinumab, and whether its positioning with respect to prior use of biologics has a significant effect after correcting for disease severity and phenotype at baseline using interpretable machine learning.

Federated data networks (FDNs) apply novel technology to enable the conduct of RWE studies with multiple partners, without the need to share the individual partner's data set. The Nuclear Receptor (NR) superfamily of transcription factors comprises 48 members, several of which have been implicated in breast cancer. Most important is estrogen receptor-α (ERα), which is a key therapeutic target. ERα action is facilitated by co-operativity with other NR and there is evidence that ERα function may be recapitulated by other NRs in ERα-negative breast cancer.
