This study aimed to assess the test-retest reliability and validity of the Arabic version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (A-PSQI), a 19-item sleep evaluation tool, in a population of medical students and interns in Saudi Arabia. Following a 16-person pilot study, 202 participants completed 2 A-PSQI questionnaires with a 2-week test-retest interval to avoid a carryover effect. Statistical analysis using RStudio included Cronbach alpha, Spearman rank correlation, and the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC).

In the face of constantly changing cyber threats, a variety of actions, tools, and regulations must be considered to safeguard information assets and guarantee the confidentiality, reliability, and availability of digital resources. The purpose of this research is to create an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven system to enhance sustainability for cyber threat detection in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. This study proposes a modern technique named Artificial Fish Swarm-driven Weight-normalized Adaboost (AF-WAdaBoost) for optimizing accuracy and sustainability in identifying attacks, thus contributing to heightening security in IoT environments.

Ulcerative colitis (UC), a severe chronic inflammatory disorder of the colon, is one of the inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) that affects humans and several domestic animal species, including cats and dogs. Helminth infections and autoimmune diseases are inversely correlated, as explained by the hygiene hypothesis, which suggests that IBD is infrequent in countries where helminth infections are common but more prevalent in developed nations. This study investigated the therapeutic and prophylactic potential of () antigens in an experimental colitis model for IBD.

In this study, we evaluate various scheduling algorithms, emphasizing the Modified Firefly Optimization Algorithm (ModFOA) and comparing it with established methods such as Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). We investigate key performance metrics, including makespan, resource utilization, and energy consumption, across both cloud and edge configurations.

Although many drugs have been discovered to treat malaria infection, many of them face resistance from the host's body with long-term use. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the activity of betalains (from ) and chloroquine (a reference drug) against brain oxidative stress induced by in male mice. Two protocols were applied in this study: the therapeutic and prophylactic protocols.

Methods: A qualitative study was conducted to explore the perceived barriers, mode of transportation, ultrasound familiarity, and self-efficacy level of relevant stakeholders in implementing the prehospital ultrasound in SRCA. Data was collected via surveys and interviews with 24 SRCA paramedics/EMTs, 4 SRCA station administrators, and two hospital physicians to further examine the inherent barriers of implementing the prehospital ultrasound.
Background: Pregnancy introduces significant physiological changes, notably impacting respiratory dynamics, especially during the second trimester. Data remain inconclusive about how body posture might influence lung function in pregnant women. We aimed to examine the impact of body position on slow vital capacity in pregnant women during their second trimester.

The scenario poses the urgent need of the hour to develop effective treatment strategies that can address the complexity of cervical cancer and multitargeted inhibitor designing that holds promise as it can simultaneously target multiple proteins and pathways involved in its progression and have the potential to enhance treatment efficacy, reduce the likelihood of drug resistance. In this study, we have performed multitargeted molecular docking of FDA-approved drugs against cervical cancer replication and maintenance proteins- Xenopus kinesin-like protein-2 (3KND), cell division cycle protein-20 (4N14), MCM2-histone complex (4UUZ) and MCM6 Minichromosome maintenance (2KLQ) with HTVS, SP and XP algorithms and have obtained the docking and MM\GBSA score ranging from -8.
