This study aims to analyze the accuracy of human reviewers in identifying scientific abstracts generated by ChatGPT compared to the original abstracts. Participants completed an online survey presenting two research abstracts: one generated by ChatGPT and one original abstract. They had to identify which abstract was generated by AI and provide feedback on their preference and perceptions of AI technology in academic writing.

Background: This study assessed the beliefs and knowledge of physical therapists in Saudi Arabia regarding the management of patellofemoral pain (PFP) and their alignment with current Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs).

Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted, involving 111 licensed physical therapists actively treating PFP patients. The survey included questions about PFP risk factors, prognosis, diagnosis, and treatment, using a Likert scale to measure confidence and knowledge.

Purpose: This study aimed to translate, cross-culturally adapt, and validate the MedRisk Instrument for Measuring Patient Satisfaction with Physical Therapy Care into Arabic (MRPS-Ar).

Organic contaminants levels, distribution and risk assessment in Jeddah marine coastal zone sediments.

Herein, various organic contaminants were determined in surface sediments collected from the Jeddah coastal zone, Saudi Arabia, to assess their levels, origin and probable toxic effects on marine organisms. High hydrocarbons concentrations, indicative of an enhanced pollutant burden, were recorded in the Jeddah Lagoon (mean value 4100 mg/kg for total aliphatic hydrocarbons (∑AHC) and 5800 μg/kg for total polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (∑PAH)), whereas mean values in Mena Jeddah were 258 mg/kg for ∑AHC and 615 μg/kg for ∑PAH. By using molecular diagnostic ratios/indices and applying Positive Matrix Factorization, petroleum related pollution seems to predominate in Jeddah lagoons, whereas carcinogenic contaminants of pyrolytic origin were dominant in Mena Jedda.

Self-Reported Moderate-to-Vigorous Physical Activity: Its Association with Health-Related Quality of Life in a Large Cohort of People with Chronic Diseases.

The aim of this study was to investigate the dose-response relationship between physical activity and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in a large population-based sample of people with chronic disease. We analysed the data of 29,271 adults (15,315 women) who were diagnosed with chronic diseases and participated in the Welsh Health Survey (Wales, UK; data collection 2011-2015). Participants were classified, based on their weekly minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA), into four groups as follows: inactive (no MVPA), insufficiently active (<150 min/week), sufficiently active (≥150-<300), and very active (≥300).

Development and validation of a simple method for the determination of triamcinolone acetonide in nasal spray.

A rapid, convenient, and sensitive analytical technique for quantitative analysis of triamcinolone acetonide (TAC) in pharmaceutical nasal spray dosage form using the blue tetrazolium colorimetric reaction and UV spectrophotometric method was developed and validated. Beer's law of the developed method was proven in the concentration range of 10-40 µg/mL and showed a specific linear relationship with coefficient value R2 = 0.998.

The objectives of this study were to obtain population normative data for the domains and component summaries of the 36-item SF-36® Health Survey (SF-36), and to evaluate its reliability and construct validity.

Methods: This study was conducted using population-based data from the Welsh Health Survey (WHS; 2011-2015).
