Objectives: To systematically review evidence on the prevalence of the JAK2V617F (JAK2) mutation and polycythemia vera (PV) among all blood donors, focusing on those with elevated hematocrit. Although blood donors are generally healthy, considering a preclinical stage of myeloproliferative neoplasm, especially in those with polycythemia, is crucial. Evidence on managing these donors is limited.

Novel amino-functionalized MOF-based sensor for zinc ion detection in water and blood serum samples.

Aquatic systems with low zinc levels can experience a significant decrease in carbon dioxide uptake and limited growth of phytoplankton species. In this study, we describe the use of a new fluorescent sensor based on NH-MIL-53(Al), and modified with glutaraldehyde and sulfadoxine, for selectively detecting zinc ions in water and blood serum samples. Characterization of the synthesized material was performed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), confirming successful functionalization and preservation of the MOF structure.

Facile Biogenic synthesis of Europium doped lanthanum silicate nanoparticles as novel supercapacitor electrodes for efficient energy storage applications.

In this work, we demonstrated for the first time, use of Europium doped lanthanum silicate nanoparticles (LS NPs) as electrodes for supercapacitor applications. Europium (Eu) doped (5 mol%) LS NPs were synthesized by green solution combustion method using Mexican mint leaf extracts. Various analytical techniques such as High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM), Selected Area Diffraction (SAED), Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS) techniques were used to confirm the morphological and structural characteristics of the synthesized nanoparticles.

First, the antenna was simulated in free-space, and its resonant frequency is found to be 27 GHz, falling within 5G's n261 band.

Based on 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (BTC) as a modifier, a new composite material consisting of BTC and Zr-based MOF (UIO-66-BTC) was fabricated for the effective removal of MB from the effluent.
