Highly selective inhibitors of cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6 (CDK4/6is) have emerged as a standart of care for first- and second-line therapies in combination with endocrine therapy (ET) for HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients. It has been reported that combination therapy is more effective than ET alone and is safe in elderly patients as well as young patients. Nevertheless, elderly and very old patients with HR+/HER2-MBC treated with CDK4/6 inhibitor (CDK4/6i) combinations are relatively underrepresented in randomized controlled trials.

Spread through air spaces (STAS) is an adverse prognostic factor that has become increasingly known in recent years. This study aims to investigate the impact of STAS presence on overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) in patients with surgically resected stage IA-IIIA lung cancer and to identify clinicopathological features associated with STAS.

As a result, predictive markers are necessary to identify patients who may benefit from single-agent TKIs for long-term response. This study aims to identify such parameters.

We reviewed the medical records of patients who were diagnosed with Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER-2) positive metastatic breast cancer and received pertuzumab and then TDM-1 between January 2014 and January 2021 from twenty- five cancer centers. The Kaplan- Meier method estimated progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).

The mainstay therapy is chemoradiotherapy (CRT), and concurrent administration of platinum-based agents and irradiation provides high local control rates.

This study aimed to investigate survival outcomes and associated factors in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In this retrospective study, data from 23 medical oncology clinics were analyzed.

Methods: A total of 185 patients were included. The adjusted PNI and IMDC model was used to divide the intermediate group into two groups: intermediate PNI-high and intermediate PNI-low groups.
Objective: The systemic inflammatory response (SIR) is known as an important factor associated with tumorigenesis and tumor progression, and can be reflected by inflammatory markers. One of the markers that reflect this is the lung immune prognostic index (LIPI). It is based on a derived neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (dNLR) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) level.

The authors report retrospective real-life data for 600 patients with estrogen receptor- and/or progesterone receptor-positive and HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer who were treated with ribociclib and palbociclib in combination with letrozole. The results demonstrated that the combination of palbociclib or ribociclib with letrozole has similar progression-free survival and overall survival benefit in real life for the patient group with similar clinical features.

The prognostic and predictive significance of mucinous histology remains controversial. It was aimed to investigate the prognostic and/or predictive role of mucinous histology in left-sided metastatic CRC (mCRC) with wild-type RAS.

This study aimed to investigate the clinical consequences of isolated enzyme-phase crossmatch-incompatible PRBC transfusions by clinically observing all events during the study period at a single institution with the primary goal of detecting AHTRs. Ninety-four transfusions of interest were administered during the study period.

However, coeffect of age and comorbidities is still unknown. We aimed to investigate prognostic value of age-adjusted Charlson Comorbidity Index (ACCI) in trunk and extremity STS operated with curative intent.

Purpose: To investigate the relationship between 18-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) parameters and outcomes in mRCC, and to define a revised International Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma Database Consortium (IMDC) model for the intermediate-risk group.
This study aims to evaluate whether sarcopenia, measured by chest computed tomography (CT), affects survival outcomes and postoperative complications in soft tissue sarcoma (STS) patients undergoing surgery. In this retrospective study, CT scans of 79 patients were reviewed to measure pectoralis and T12 vertebra muscle area. Both were then adjusted for height (cm/m) as pectoralis muscle index (PMI) and T12 vertebra muscle index (TMI).

The prepared p(4-VP) particles were then treated various modifying agents with different functional groups. The modifying agents used in the modification of p(4-VP) particles are N-alkyl quaternizing agents such as 2-bromo ethanol (-OH), 4-bromo butyronitrile (-CN), and 2-bromoethylamine hydrobromide (-NH2).
