Introduction: This study investigated the effect of different auditory stimuli and cognitive tasks on balance in healthy young adults.
Methods: Thirty-three participants, aged 23.33 ± 2.

Background And Purpose: Randomized trials in the late window have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of endovascular thrombectomy in large-vessel occlusions. Patients with M2-segment MCA occlusions were excluded from these trials. We compared outcomes with endovascular thrombectomy in patients with M2-versus-M1 occlusions presenting 6-24 hours after symptom onset.

Materials And Methods: Consecutive neurointerventional procedures with an intention to perform TRA with the Rist radial access guide catheter between April 2021 and May 2022 were retrospectively reviewed. Possible access site complications, other procedure-related complications and information on successful catherization of the target vessel as well as whether the procedure had been successful were collected.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effects of basic body awareness therapy (BBAT) on pain, balance, muscle strength, and functionality in knee OA.
Methods: Forty patients (mean age: 55.20 ± 6.
Objective: The aim of our multi-center study is to examine 5-year radiological outcomes of intracranial aneurysms (IAs) treated with the Woven EndoBridge (WEB).
Methods: All patients treated with WEB between January 2013 and December 2016 were included. Patient and aneurysm characteristic data was collected from the electronic patient record.
Background And Objectives: Declines in stroke admission, IV thrombolysis (IVT), and mechanical thrombectomy volumes were reported during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a paucity of data on the longer-term effect of the pandemic on stroke volumes over the course of a year and through the second wave of the pandemic. We sought to measure the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the volumes of stroke admissions, intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), IVT, and mechanical thrombectomy over a 1-year period at the onset of the pandemic (March 1, 2020, to February 28, 2021) compared with the immediately preceding year (March 1, 2019, to February 29, 2020).

Methods: A total of 112 patients were treated for IAs with the WEB in at our institution between 2013 and 2020. Patients with 6- and/or 24-months follow-up data were included in the study.
Background: Flow diversion of acutely ruptured intracranial aneurysms (IAs) is controversial due to high treatment-related complication rates and a lack of supporting evidence. We present clinical and radiological results of the largest series to date.
Methods: This is a nationwide retrospective study of acutely ruptured IAs treated with flow diverters (FDs).
Background: The Woven EndoBridge (WEB) is a device for the treatment of intracranial wide-necked bifurcation aneurysms. The safety and effectiveness of WEB for intracranial aneurysms have both been evaluated in previous trials. Our aim was to study the outcomes of recurrent intracranial aneurysms (IAs) treated with WEB.

The aim of this study was to report the safety and six-month follow-up outcomes using the new Surpass Evolve flow diverter in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.
Materials And Methods: Consecutive patients with intracranial aneurysm treated with Surpass Evolve flow diverter in two high-volume neurovascular centers between May 2019 and January 2020 were retrospectively reviewed.
Objective: The prevalence of intracranial aneurysms (IAs) is higher in patients with aortic aneurysms. However, there are lack of studies investigating prevalence of thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAAs) in patients with IAs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the prevalence and risk factors for thoracic aortic dilatations (TADs) and TAAs in patients with IAs.

We studied the effect of inhibition of c-Abl kinase activity by imatinib with chemotherapy drugs and found a striking difference in cell survival after combined mitoxantrone (MX) and imatinib treatment compared to a panel of other chemotherapy drugs. The combinatory treatment induced apoptosis in HeLa cells and other cancer cell lines but not in primary fibroblasts.

The patient was diagnosed as right undescended testicle accompanied by left indirect inguinal hernia. According to the scrotal Doppler ultrasonography the right undescended testicle was localized in the inguinal canal very close to the inner ring.

Patients with PNES (n=35), patients with ES (n=35), and healthy controls (n=37) were compared with respect to the prevalence of psychiatric disorders in this study. We tested the predictive power of having axis I psychiatric disorders, as well as personality disorders, in distinguishing ES from PNES.

An autoimmune etiology is widely considered, and genetic factors may play an important role in its pathogenesis. The purpose of this study was to assess the incidence of thyroid dysfunctions and autoimmune thyroiditis in children with vitiligo and to identify related factors.

We aimed to investigate the effect of diet restriction, based on IgG antibodies against food antigens on the course of migraine attacks in this randomised, double blind, cross-over, headache-diary based trial on 30 patients diagnosed with migraine without aura.
Methods: Following a 6-week baseline, IgG antibodies against 266 food antigens were detected by ELISA.
A 55-year-old man presented with multiple, asymptomatic, yellowish papules on his face with a 4-year history, and two non-healing tumoral lesions on his nose with a 7-month history. He was a renal transplant recipient and had been treated with cyclosporine (ciclosporin) for 9 years. A biopsy from the asymptomatic, yellowish papule on the face showed sebaceous gland hyperplasia, and biopsies from the lesions on the nose revealed basal cell carcinomas.

Methods: Ten (7 males and 3 females) were enrolled in the study. LEV was started at 500mg bid, escalating over 1-2 weeks to maximal doses of 3000mg daily, based on seizure control and tolerance for 13-28 months.
Juvenile hyaline fibromatosis (JHF) is a rare, autosomally-recessive disease characterized by papulonodular skin lesions, soft tissue masses, joint contractures, gingival hypertrophy and osteolytic bone lesions. Its onset is in infancy or early childhood. The most commonly affected sites are the nose, chin, ears, scalp, back and knees.
