Spinal schistosomiasis mimickingspinal tumour: a case report.

Introduction And Importance: Schistosomiasis, a parasitic disease, is caused by blood flukes from the schistosoma genus. Neuroschistosomiasis is the most severe form of schistosomiasis, which occurs when the host's brain and spinal cord react to the deposition of eggs, leading to neurological symptoms. Neuroschistosomiasis causes various signs and symptoms, such as myelopathy, radiculopathy, and elevated intracranial pressure.

Adenocarcinoma admixed with neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix: A case report and review of literature.

A 40-year-old Ethiopian woman presented with a six-month history of non-foul-smelling whitish vaginal discharge. She also reported a one-year history of postcoital bleeding. A pelvic examination revealed a nodular, hard, and fragile cervical mass.

Foreign body aspiration in children at University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, a two year retrospective study.

Introduction: Foreign body aspiration (FBA) is defined as asphyxia, suffocation, or inhalation of items of food, such as bone and seed, and non-food, such as toys, into the respiratory tract. Aspiration of foreign bodies is an important and preventable cause of mortality and morbidity in children, especially those less than 3 years of age. The aim of this study was to analyse the clinical and radiological profile, modes of management, and outcomes of foreign body aspiration in children at the University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospital and identify areas of possible interventions for proper management of such cases.
