Background: Chagas disease is a systemic illness with widespread microvascular involvement. Experimental and clinical studies suggest that functional and structural microcirculatory abnormalities might be relevant to the disease progression.
Objectives: To show the presence of sublingual microcirculatory alterations in patients with chronic Chagas disease.
This study evaluated whether deep learning frameworks trained in large datasets can help non-dermatologist physicians improve their accuracy in categorizing the seven most common pigmented skin lesions. Open-source skin images were downloaded from the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) archive. Different deep neural networks (DNNs) ( = 8) were trained based on a random dataset constituted of 8015 images.

We compared Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Parsing Process (PP), both for the Spanish language. We studied 87,750 and processed 65,000 prescriptions and recovered 62% and 65% with NLP and PP to a structured format respectively.

Pyramiding these QTLs with cry1Ac increases protection against Bt-tolerant pests, presenting an opportunity to effectively deploy Bt with host-plant resistance genes. Plant resistance to leaf-chewing insects minimizes the need for insecticide applications, reducing crop production costs and pesticide concerns.

Conclusion: Here we focus on the use of this modality in patients with nontraumatic vascular pathologic abnormalities.
Objective: In this article, we focus on the arterial anatomy of the upper extremities, the technical aspects of upper extremity CT angiography (CTA), and CTA use in trauma patients.
Conclusion: CTA using modern MDCT scanners has evolved into a highly accurate noninvasive diagnostic tool for the evaluation of patients with abnormalities of the upper extremity arterial system.
Southern corn rootworm, Diabrotica undecimpunctata howardi Barber, can cause severe stand loss in reduced tillage corn after a vetch cover crop. Trials conducted over 3 yr found that clothianidin and thiamethoxam neonicotinoid seed treatments and conventional granular insecticides applied in-furrow or as a T-band were very effective against southern corn rootworm. Treatments were categorized as no control (untreated), partial control, and full control based on the extent of seedling injury.

During 2007-2008, five 'Benning' soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr) lines with different value added nutritional traits and four insect resistant quantitative trait loci (QTL) lines were evaluated in an effort to determine their pest vulnerability under artificial and natural insect pest populations.

The profile of side effects of the opioids used via this route is similar to those occurring after systemic administration. The onset of vertigo with vertical nystagmus is an adverse effect rarely described after the use of intrathecal, epidural or intravenous morphine.

This disease may affect any body organ, especially the upper and lower airways and the kidneys. Hardly ever is otomastoiditis the first and only clinical manifestation of generalized Wegener's granulomatosis.

The coexistence of these two clinical conditions is due to diseases with different pathogenic mechanisms. Primary systemic vasculitis and Goodpasture syndrome are the most frequent etiologies.
