The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of IVF versus IUI in infertile women with low AMH levels, analyzing data from 462 patients over two years.
Results showed that the live birth rates were similar between IVF (13.0%) and IUI (13.3%), and nearly 44% of IVF cycles did not result in embryo transfer.
The conclusion suggests that low ovarian reserve in women with AMH levels ≤ 1.2 ng/mL does not warrant IVF as a more favorable option compared to IUI.
