The objective of the present work was to study the functional characteristics of the microcirculation system in the women of late reproductive age presenting with chronic endometritis before and after a course of contrast massage. Three types of functional changes in the microcirulation system were distinguished based on the results of laser-assisted Doppler flowmetry. All of them were characterized by high coefficients of correlation with the results of dopplerometry of uterine blood flow and underwent dynamic changes in the course of the treatment.

The studies of 116 females with chronic nonspecific salpingo-oophoritis demonstrate that combination of low-frequency magnetic field with iodine-bromine water effectively corrects immunological indices, i.e. improves T- and B-cell immunity, production of IgM and IgA, proportion of immunoregulatory subpopulations of T-lymphocytes.

However, marked immunocorrection was not reached.

Treatment results assessed in 170 females of the reproductive age who had previously undergone reconstructive-plastic operations on uterine tubes provide evidence for effectiveness of differentiated use of impulse infrared laser and sinusoidal modulated currents in combination with balneotherapy. The above physiotherapeutic modalities are considered good aftertreatment for females operated on the uterine tubes.
