This study assessed relationship between hair loss and professional success by characterizing severity of hair loss among current white male chief executive officers (CEOs) in the United States. This observational study of androgenic alopecia among business executives was conducted by grading anterior and lateral view photographs of CEOs aged 50-69 years. Blinded, independent two-reviewer assessments of androgenic alopecia were performed based on the Hamilton-Norwood Hair Loss Scale.
