Objectives: to synthesize evidence from qualitative studies about the implications that the deprivation of liberty process has on incarcerated adults' family relationships.
Methods: a qualitative meta-synthesis, carried out in January 2021, by searching for publications indexed in six databases. The sample consisted of 10 studies, which were analyzed by MaxQDA®, and an interpretative synthesis was performed based on Attachment Theory.
Objective: To report the experience of a Virtual Culture Circle with Brazilian families about coping with COVID-19, as a space that promotes health during the pandemic.
Method: Experience resulting from an extension action, the Virtual Culture Circle was held based on Paulo Freire's Research Itinerary. It counted with the participation of seven families from different locations in Brazil.
Objective: To identify factors associated with leisure activities of elderly residents in rural areas.
Method: Quantitative cross-sectional study carried out with 258 elderly living in the rural area of Paraná. The collection instrument addressed sociodemographic, economic, and self-reported leisure activities.
Objective: to define the competencies for the prevention and control of healthcare-related infections that should be developed by the generalist nurse and the specialist nurse in infection control in Brazil.
Method: the Delphi technique, developed in four rounds, was used. Thirty-one nurses and eight physicians participated in the study, with expertise in infection prevention and control.
Objective: To report the experience of the operationalization of clinical simulation as a pedagogical strategy in a subject of an undergraduate course in Nursing.
Method: Clinical simulation cycles were carried out following the steps of action research, such as: planning, action, observation and reflection, from March 2014 to July 2015 with 10 professors and 44 students from a Primary Care and Mental Health subject of an undergraduate course in Nursing.
Results: Five cycles of clinical simulation were performed, at the end of each cycle modifications were suggested by students and professors and the operation was adjusted to meet the needs of the subject.
Objective: To know the perception of expert professionals in infection control and prevention on the teaching of skills for the prevention and control of infections related to health care in undergraduate courses in Health Sciences.
Method: We used the Delphi technique, developed in four sequential rounds. Thirty-one nurses and eight physicians participated in the study.
